Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of work spirit and job satisfaction among nurses on the implementation of patient safety and the reporting of patient safety incidents at RS Fitri Candra Wonogiri. Using a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed to 80 active nurses through total sampling. Statistical analysis, including path analysis, was performed to evaluate the direct and indirect effects of the variables. The results showed that work spirit and job satisfaction significantly influenced the implementation of patient safety (Adjusted R² = 0.884, p < 0.001). Furthermore, work spirit, job satisfaction, and the implementation of patient safety significantly affected the reporting of patient safety incidents (Adjusted R² = 0.917, p < 0.001). The findings highlight the importance of fostering work spirit and job satisfaction to enhance the implementation of patient safety protocols and promote transparency in incident reporting. This study provides recommendations for developing strategies to improve patient safety outcomes in healthcare facilities.
