Pengaruh Implementasi Program Budaya Sensor Mandiri terhadap Partisipasi Penonton Film Layar Lebar
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of the self-censorship culture program on audience participation in feature films. The implementation of this program is studied using Edward III's perspective which includes four main aspects, namely communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Meanwhile, the theory of participation refers to Cohen and Uphoff's thinking which consists of four dimensions, namely decision-making, implementation, benefits, and evaluation. In this study, the Weight Mean Score method was used to calculate the average and explain it descriptively. In addition, data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation and Spearman Rank correlation through calculations in SPSS version 25 to examine the relationship between the implementation of self-censorship culture and feature film audience participation. The results showed a very strong correlation between the variables, with a coefficient of determination of 84.3%, indicating that the implementation of self-censorship culture contributes significantly to the audience participation of feature films
