Abstract

Education has an important role in ensuring the survival of a nation and state, because education is a vehicle for improving and developing the quality of human resources as well as determining development and the number of cadets at the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic due to competition betwwen educational institutions, so this research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing marketing strategies for educational services in improving the quality of eduactional development at the Palembang Aviation Polytechnic as a public service agency and to know what dimensions and indicators succes have been achieved. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely carrying out qualitative analysis through a narrative approach by analyzing informant stories and then explaining the indicators of educational service marketing strategies. Data collection tehcniques are observation, interviews and documentation with valid data from valid data from various sources.Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The results of the research analysis of educational marketing strategies in improving the quality of educational development as a public service agency were successful because the indicators for educational marketing strategies were achieved and the marketing process was carried out directly by conducting outreach to schools and carried out indirectly by utilizing print and electronic media.
