Analisis Tingkat Kepatuhan Penggunaan Obat Anti Tuberkulosis di Puskesmas Kota Denpasar
Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious health problem in Indonesia, including Bali with Denpasar City having the highest TB cases. Adherence to anti-tuberculosis drugs (ATD) is an important factor in the success of TB treatment. This study aims to analyze the level of ATD adherence among TB patients at Community Health Centers in Denpasar City. The research method used a cross-sectional design with consecutive sampling technique. A total of 38 respondents were obtained from South Denpasar 1 and West Denpasar 2 Community Health Centers in February-March 2025. Data collection used the Probabilistic Medication Adherence Scale (ProMAS) questionnaire. The results showed that the majority of respondents had high adherence levels (86.8%) and medium-high (13.2%). No respondents with low or medium-low adherence levels were found. Based on demographic characteristics, respondents were dominated by the 46-55 age group (26.3%), male (57.9%), self-employed (31.6%), married status (71.1%), having treatment supervisors (92.1%), and in the continuation phase of treatment (55.3%). Chi-square statistical analysis showed no significant relationship between demographic characteristics and ATD adherence levels. The level of ATD adherence at Community Health Centers in Denpasar City is relatively high, indicating the successful implementation of the DOTS strategy.
